61-Year-Old Islamic Cleric, Taofeek Adams Beheads Woman Seeking Spiritual Counsel
An Islamic CLERIC, Taofeek Adams, on Monday showed up before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for supposedly separating the leader of an admirer.
The denounced, 61, an inhabitant of Masinowe Compound, Ikoga in Badagry, was accused of intrigue and murder.
The court couldn’t take his request, as Magistrate A.S. Okubule said that she required guidance from the state chief of open arraignments.
Okubule in this way requested the remand of the charged at the Ikoyi Prisons care pending the counsel.
The prosecutor, Insp. Chinalu Uwadione, had told the court that Adams (a.k.a. Kiekie) disjoined the head of one Oluwakemi Afolabi, 38, who worshiped in a mosque he managed.
Uwadione said that the priest submitted the offenses on March 19 at 4.00p.m. at Waterside, Ikoga-Zebbe in Badagry.
He said that the perished had come to look for otherworldly assistance from the minister.
“The blamed decapitated the perished before slashing off her different parts for custom purposes.
“He was secured when individuals from the group saw him conveying a sack splashed with blood,” Uwadione said.
He noticed that the offenses negated segments 222 and 233 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
