Uefa Champions League: Ronaldo Talks About Beating Messi To 100 Goals
REAL Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has said he “generally trusted” that he would be the principal man to score 100 Champions League objectives.
Ronaldo accomplished the deed, amid Madrid’s second leg in the quarter-last conflict with Bayern Munich, where he got a match-winning cap trap.
He is currently on 103 objectives, after he scored another treble against their city rivals, Atletico Madrid.
That puts Ronaldo nine clear of his interminable opponent at Barcelona, Lionel Messi.
“I generally trusted I would be the main player in Champions League history to score 100 objectives.
“I did it. It was an objective that I set myself toward the start of the season and, because of G**, I accomplished it.
“I might clearly want to thank all my colleagues, the mentor, all the staff and all the Real Madrid fans,” Ronaldo told UEFA in front of a Champions League last conflict with Juventus.
